By Oevermann, a subsidiary of the Heijmans Group operating in Germany, has acquired the contract for the construction of a shopping centre, including a parking garage, in Dorsten. The contract value amounts to € 35 million.
Kaufland, C&A and Müller will be establishing a presence in the new shopping centre, which will have a 43,500 m² gross floor area and a parking garage with a capacity of 420 parking spaces. As such, the shopping centre will have a regional function.
For Oevermann, the contract concerns the construction of the shopping centre, consisting of the building's structure and finishing, including moving walkways and passages. Total construction time will be approximately 19 months and the shopping centre is scheduled to open at the beginning of 2016.
