HEIJMANS : N.V. announces appointments

's-Hertogenbosch, 28 April 2010 - The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders
(AGM) approved the appointment of Rob van Gelder and Pamela Boumeester to the
Supervisory Board. Gerrit Witzel today succeeds Rob van Gelder as Chairman of
the Executive Board of Heijmans. The Supervisory Board today officially
appointed Bert van der Els as a member of the Executive Board.
Executive Board/Executive Committee
Effective 1 July 2008, Rob van Gelder (64) became Chairman of the Executive
Board. As agreed in 2008, he is now retiring. Effective 1 July 2010, he will
join the Supervisory Board of Heijmans. Gerrit Witzel (58) became Vice Chairman
of the Executive Board on 1 October 2008 and effective today succeeds Rob van
Gelder.
During the AGM, the Supervisory Board explained the appointment of Bert van der
Els (55) to the Executive Board. Van der Els is currently a member of the
Executive Committee. The new Executive Board of Heijmans N.V. consequently
currently consists of Gerrit Witzel (Chairman), Bert van der Els (Vice Chairman)
and Mark van den Biggelaar (CFO).
Jan Kleijn, currently Director of Residential Building Region South, succeeds
Van der Els as a member of the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee
consequently comprises Ton Hillen (Property Development and Residential
Building) and Jan Kleijn (Non-residential Building and Technical Services) and
the previously mentioned members of the Executive Board.
Supervisory Board
With the appointment of Rob van Gelder (effective 1 July 2010) and Pamela
Boumeester (effective 28 April 2010), the Supervisory Board will have filled the
two vacancies that were open for appointment. Hans Bartelds (member of the
Supervisory Board of Heijmans N.V. since May 1994) will step down as a member of
the Supervisory Board effective 28 April 2010.
