HEIJMANS : Takeover of Heitkamp Rail by Eiffage finalized

's-Hertogenbosch - The sale of Heitkamp Rail GmbH and Heijmans Rail B.V.
('Heitkamp Rail') to Eiffage Travaux Publics SAS is now complete. Eiffage
Travaux Publics, a fully owned subsidiary of EIFFAGE SA, purchased 100% of the
shares in Heitkamp Rail from Heijmans N.V. The acquisition purchase price was
paid in cash.
Heitkamp Rail is an international multidisciplinary railway contractor with
approximately 300 employees. Heijmans' strategy is focused on the Netherlands
domestic market, where the company has gained key market positions in project
development, construction, infrastructure and technical services. The sale of
Heitkamp Rail fits within this strategy. Heijmans will use the proceeds of the
takeover to further debt reduction and strengthening the balance sheet. A
limited book gain on this sale has been realized.
The Eiffage Group is active in the full spectrum of building, energy,
infrastructure construction and concessions. Its activities include building and
developing properties, road construction and civil engineering, multi-technical
installations, metallic construction and facade construction, and concessions.
With 75,000 employees the Group recorded sales of EUR13,200 millions in 2008.
