Heineken NV (>> HEINEKEN) and Anheuser-Busch InBev NV (>> AB INBEV) are jostling for the acquisition of Dominican brewer Cerveceria Nacional Dominicana, Reuters reports Tuesday, citing sources.
According to the report, CND is valued around $1.5 billion.
Heineken already owns a 9.3% stake in CND, the Dominican Republic's largest brewer, whose brands include Presidente and Bohemia.
Both Heineken and AB InBev declined to comment to Dow Jones Newswires Tuesday.
