Med Sea Health S.A.'s Miraggio Thermal Spa Resort, one of the most sophisticated hotels in Greece that recently started its operation in Chalkidiki, chose COSMOTE innovative ICT solutions to cover its top-level demands.

Utilizing the experience of OTE Group from large and complex projects, pertaining to the tourism sector, Med Sea Health S.A. selected specialized COSMOTE solutions for the creation of a unified IP data audiovisual network (Unified Communications). This network allows the Miraggio Thermal Spa Resort visitors to enjoy integrated high-speed wireless network (WiFi), fixed and mobile telecommunications, and visual (video streaming, OTE TV) services, as well as secure Internet browsing.

COSMOTE solutions, implemented with Huawei and Nec technologies, are fully integrated with the hotel's critical operational systems, such as the Hotel Management System, and are totally compatible with the demands of its other basic IT systems (IPTV, BMS, CCTV, etc.). To manage the unified network, Network Managed Services (NMS) have been provided, offering total and centralized administration - including automatic notification mechanisms in case of error. Finally, a high level of safety is also provided to secure the infrastructure and unencumbered operation of the Miraggio Thermal Spa Resort, as well as advanced technical support services.

About the Miraggio Thermal Spa Resort

The Miraggio Thermal Spa Resort Hotel is located at the 'Kanistro' area of Kassandra in Chalkidiki expanding over 132 decares (32 acres) with a total building coverage of 50.000m. The hotel has 640 rooms and the capacity to accommodate 900 visitors. It is a €120 million investment implemented by Med Sea Health. Construction began in 2014 and was completed with the inclusion of the marina, which has the largest dock of its kind (110 metres in length) in Greece.
