Capital Link CSR in Greece: ΟΤΕ Group is awarded for its contribution to society, environment & corporate governance

ΟΤΕ Group received the "2017 Capital Link CSR Leadership Award", in the context of the 7th Corporate Social Responsibility Conference of Capital Link, which took place at Hilton Hotel in Athens. The award was presented to the OTE Group Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Michael Tsamaz, by the Mayor of Athens, Mr. Giorgos Kaminis.

ΟΤΕ Group was awarded for its overall contribution to society, environment as well as corporate governance.

Regarding the role of entrepreneurship today, Mr. Tsamaz stated: "The business world can take an enhanced role to confront global challenges, such as climate change, poverty, access to knowledge and equality. With technology, we can develop sustainable solutions for humanity".

The 2017 Capital Link Corporate Social Responsibility Conference themed "Investing in Growth - The new face of CSR", focused on the Sustainable Growth model, showcasing the benefits for both businesses and society, and presented new trends and practices in the corporate responsibility sector, from the Greek and international market.
