Hemisphere Media Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:HMTV) (“Hemisphere”), the only publicly traded pure-play U.S. media company targeting the high growth Spanish-language television and cable networks business in the U.S. and Latin America, expanded its partnership with Atlantic Broadband by launching two more of its Spanish-language cable networks, Pasiones and Televisión Dominicana, on Atlantic Broadband’s Miami systems. With the addition of these two cable networks, Atlantic Broadband subscribers can enjoy Hemisphere Media Group’s entire suite of channels, which also includes Centroamérica TV, Cinelatino and WAPA América.

The additional networks, which are now available on Atlantic Broadband’s Spanish-language programming package, Mundo Latino Basico, are:

  • Pasiones, dedicated to showcasing the world’s best telenovelas and serialized dramas, licensed from the most important producers (channel 207);
  • Televisión Dominicana, the leading network targeting Dominicans living in the U.S., offering the best news, entertainment, and sports programming from the Island’s top producers and distributors, including exclusive rights to the Dominican Professional Baseball Winter League (channel 248).
