Hexcel Corporation (NYSE / Euronext Paris: HXL) today informs its stockholders that it is holding the 2012 Annual General Meeting of stockholders of Hexcel Corporation on May 3, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Two Stamford Plaza, 281 Tresser Boulevard, Stamford, Connecticut, for the following purposes:

1. To elect ten individuals to serve as directors until the next annual meeting of stockholders and until their successors are duly elected and qualified;

2. To conduct an advisory vote to approve the company's 2011 executive compensation;

3. To ratify the appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as independent registered public accounting firm for 2012; and

4. To transact such other business as may properly come before the meeting or any adjournments or postponements thereof.

We have established the close of business on March 8, 2012 as the record date for determining the registered stockholders entitled to attend, vote or grant proxies to vote at the meeting or any adjournments or postponements of the meeting.
