PHILADELPHIA and DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, Oct. 28, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hill International (NYSE:HIL), the global leader in managing construction risk, announced today that Simon Longley, FRICS, FCIArb, FCInstCES, has joined the company as Senior Vice President with Hill's Construction Claims Group. He will be based out of the company's Dubai, United Arab Emirates office.

A chartered quantity surveyor and barrister, Longley has more than 30 years of experience in construction consulting with a focus on complex, high-valued infrastructure and energy projects. Prior to joining Hill, he was Regional Managing Director with Project Advisors International. Before that, he was Regional Director of Contract, Commercial and Expert Services for High-Point Rendel Consulting, Senior Claims Consultant with Schofield Lothian Consulting, and Commercial Director for Balfour Beatty Rail First. Longley earned his B.S. in quantity surveying from Newcastle Polytechnic, his LL.B. from the University of London and he is currently pursuing his LL.M. in professional legal skills from the City Law School in London. He also earned his Post Graduate Diploma in international commercial arbitration from the Centre for Commercial Law Studies at Queen Mary University of London. Longley is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors.
