HOCHTIEF has been recognized for its 'eminent accountability as an employer.' The German Society for the Certification of Management Systems (DQS) honored the group's achievements with the 'German Award for Excellence' in the 'Employer Accountability' category. In particular, DQS praised the diverse training opportunities within the group offered by institutions such as the HOCHTIEF Academy, Turner University and Flatiron Construction University. In total, the number of hours spent on education and training in the HOCHTIEF Group averaged at around 22 hours per employee. The employees therefore devote nearly three working days to their qualifications, for example in occupational safety, compliance or technical innovations.

'This award is an endorsement of our global HR work. We use all available means to qualify our employees adequately and correctly. We thus promote employee satisfaction and are attractive to potential new employees,' says Head of HR Martina Steffen.
