NEW YORK, NY / ACCESSWIRE / June 26, 2017 / U.S. markets were lifted by positive performances by energy and technology stocks Friday, closing the week in the green. The Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 0.01 percent to close at 21,394.76, up 0.05 percent for the week, while the S&P 500 Index gained 0.16 percent to close at 2,438.30, up 0.2 percent for the week. The NASDAQ Composite Index rose 0.46 percent to close at 6,265.25. Despite ongoing concerns of a surplus in supplies, oil prices showed some signs of stabilization after the recent drop. On Friday, U.S. oil futures rose 0.6 percent to settle at $43.01 a barrel.
