Market makers for stock futures

Investors should be aware that some stock futures contracts have market makers and others do not. In addition, they should remember that the availability of market makers may change from time to time. The list of market makersfor HKEx's stock futures will be updated on HKEx website periodically.

Investors should exercise due caution in trading stock futures contracts without market makers and understand the liquidity risk involved. If there are no market makers, investors cannot open or close stock futures positions unless there are investors with opposite views in the market.
