Following the Zagreb-based hotels The Westin Zagreb, Sheraton Zagreb Hotel, Hotel International, and Panorama Zagreb Hotel, Hrvatski Telekom has implemented its converged ICT and telecommunications solution also in the recently opened Dubrovnik-based hotels Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera and Mlini.

All the hotels are owned by the company HUP-Zagreb d.d., one of the leading companies in the tourism and hospitality industry in Croatia.

Following the implementation of the solution in 1,219 rooms in Zagreb, Hotel TV solution has been implemented also in 399 hotel rooms in Dubrovnik. The solution currently comprises of over 80 television channels in accordance with the standards of one of the largest global companies - Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. - with which the company HUP Zagreb has been continuously co-operating and is hence keeping abreast with the global standards in hotel services.

In addition to new films available in Videoteka (Video Library), PayTV has also currently additionally enhanced the appeal of the services, providing new opportunities aimed at boosting both the hotel revenues and consumption.

Hotel TV solution provided by Hrvatski Telekom is simultaneously also a unique solution of this type on the Croatian market with regulated copyrights on the programmes broadcast to hotel visitors.

Hence, the company HUP Zagreb has had the comprehensive telephony services in the new hotels, as well as data connections and Internet access implemented by Hrvatski Telekom. Consequently, fixed Internet access service has been implemented and Wi-Fi access coverage has been ensured (Wi-Fi indoor and Wi-Fi outdoor solutions). In addition, the equipment produced by the leading global manufacturers (such as Cisco Systems, Samsung, LG, and Albis) has been installed.

The hotel information system has been fully integrated with the solutions provided by Hrvatski Telekom, which has significantly simplified business processes and the interaction between the hotel and its visitors.
