Hrvatski Telekom dd : and Bullitt donated robust CAT S61 phones to HGSS and Zagreb Zoo

The Zagreb Zoo was the place where media representatives, representatives of CAT mobile devices and recipient of donations - the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service and the ZOO itself gathered, all on the occasion of the presentation of the smartphone Cat® S61, a new leading device from the CAT robust smartphone offering and their so far, the most advanced representative that helps in carrying out various business tasks that is, since July 4, 2018, officially for sale in Croatia.

Official presentation of the Cat S61 smartphone to the domestic public as well as the start of the sale of this device on the Croatian market were marked by, among other things, two donations by Bullitt Group and Hrvatski Telekom. Traditionally, donation of Cat devices was handed over to the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service (HGSS) in the value of 40,000 kn. This year, a novelty is the donation to the Zagreb ZOO, also through Cat devices, worth 20,000 kn.

The most significant functionalities of the Cat S61 were presented through a fun-educational program and a walk through the Zagreb Zoo. The Cat® S61 is equipped with tools for different types of crafts, and has been developed as the successor to the highly rewarded S60 model, and upgraded with the enhanced FLIR® thermal camera, built-in laser distance measurement and air quality sensor.

Cat® S61 is available at the operator and in retail all over Croatia at a suggested price of 7,399.00 kn, whereby the specific terms of the purchase depend on a particular point of sale.

The integrated FLIR with thermal imaging camera incorporates enhanced software for enhanced image contrast, expanded temperature range of up to 400 degrees Celsius, as well as upgraded camera resolution that has been upgraded to the HD resolution from the previous VGA. The new version of the MyFlir app now allows live video streaming from a thermal camera.

These new features contribute to the many areas of use that require portability, connectivity, and higher picture quality. Vehicle diagnostics, asphalt monitoring, and higher temperature monitoring are now possible with the Cat S61 innovations, with the classic yet advanced and unique options available from the earlier model, including window and door heat loss detection, moisture detection and lack of insulation, identification of overheated electrical devices and overloaded current circuits and viewing in full darkness or through events such as light fog or smoke.

Regardless of whether it is used as a monitoring, diagnostic or enhancement tool, the Cat S61 enables fast access to thermal image via a mobile device in your pocket. Scan the situation through a completely different perspective and find the source of heat up to 400 ºC, even in complete darkness.

The Cat S61 offers even more details if you need to find areas of humidity, lack of insulation, various leaks, gaps in materials and joints, or just want to make a thermal image of something from your environment and process and share the record. Diagnose the problem and show visual evidence for instant comments, and arrange the required workflow and correction, all through the FLIR app on the CAT S61.

Given that it provides much more information and performs significantly more functions than just one photo stored on the phone, the Cat S61 saves time. It allows you to measure the length and height, and analyze the space, then keep these details stored by the visual space log, all in one place, on one screen.

Using the 'Measure' application, it is possible for a user to evaluate the required materials for painting walls or other surfaces, flooring, paving or wall or other surface coverings in a very short time, while recording the complete layout of the space within which you want to do something, makes it possible for you to visualize how the object or idea will fit into that space.

Indoor air quality sensor

Given that it allows measuring high pollution levels in closed space (Volatile Organic Compounds or VOC), the Cat S61 can track the indoor air quality conditions with the air quality sensor and the 'Air' application will trigger you to open the window or go outside if it detects an unhealthy environment and a high level of VOC. The most common sources of VOC are dyes, solvents, carpets, furniture, and cleaning products, all common in typical Cat Phone users' environments. This functionality can also be used to read the temperature or humidity level that is useful when you are in a room without fan, for example, or when the window opening cannot eliminate moisture. You can also use the sensor to tell you when the freshly plastered wall is dry and ready for painting.
