Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) announced today that Hyatt ranked number 38 on the “100 Best Workplaces for Women” list by Great Place to Work®. The inaugural list honors the top 100 companies that have been recognized by their female employees as organizations where women can thrive.

Women for Women International

In 2014, Hyatt announced a four-year, one million dollar partnership with Women for Women International, a global development organization that offers education, training and income generation opportunities for marginalized women in areas impacted by war and conflict. The investment will help support more than 60,000 women in Afghanistan, Rwanda, Bosnia and Herzegovina, South Sudan, Nigeria, Iraq, Democratic Republic of the Congo and Kosovo – regions in urgent need of support and countries where many Hyatt colleagues around the world were raised and still have family members living.

Women@Hyatt Business Resource Group

Launched in 2012, Women@Hyatt, the company’s business resource group connecting colleagues around the globe, is a network of women and men who create initiatives and events that focus on enhancing the workplace in ways that position Hyatt to be the preferred brand for women. With more than 30 chapters around the world and growing, members of Women@Hyatt have dedicated their time in many ways, including volunteer initiatives, mentoring, securing educational speakers, increasing executive exposure, networking, and participating in consumer insight projects, among others.

The 100 Best Workplaces for Women is a “best of the best” ranking. The winners come from a universe of approximately 650 companies with published Great Place to Work® Reviews, meaning they are serious about creating a great workplace and comfortable with transparency.
