This software release provides critical features and updates to the best Private Digital Cloud solution in the marketplace, IceWEB, Inc.'s IceBOX.

The list of new features includes:

  • Enhanced IceBOX administration menu
  • Mixed mode authentications
  • Recycle Bin support
  • Network Shares: Public and Private Sharing Support
  • User Group Support for Network shares
  • Display Free space and Log directory size in Cloud Administrator User Interface

The IceBOX appliance now provides more administrator-controlled features through the administration menu including options for automatic software updates and Support Log file uploads. From a software perspective, IceBOX v2.0 now enables customers to mix user authentication types with Directory Services such as Active Directory. Enterprises large and small can now extend the use of their IceBOX implementation beyond their internal user base to include temporary and guest users without having to modify their internal authentication scheme. Another major feature is the Recycle Bin Support that allows users to recover from accidental file deletion directly from within the IceBOX web interface.
