Free becomes France's first mobile operator to include roaming communications from Canada in a no-commitment plan costing less than €20 a month

Free has now included roaming communications from Canada in its no-commitment

Free Mobile Plan (€19.99/month or €15.99/month for Freebox subscribers).

Subscribers who have been signed up to the Free Mobile Plan for at least 60 days can now use their plan when they are in Canada for 35 days per calendar year at no extra cost. This includes unlimited outgoing calls and SMS and MMS messages from Canada to Canada and to Metropolitan France, as well as 3G mobile Internet access of up to 3GB (included in the Internet allowance provided in the Free Mobile Plan). The same applies to incoming communications that are included in the Free Mobile Plan.

Free was the first French mobile network operator to make roaming communications accessible when, in April 2013, it included communications from Portugal in a no-commitment plan costing less than €20 a month. Since then further roaming destinations have been added, and now, thanks to the "Pass Destination Canada", Free Mobile Plan subscribers can use their phones at no extra cost when travelling in Canada as part of a straightforward, no-commitment offering available at a very attractive price.
