Positive succession arrangement: Dr. Matthias Jacob becomes new Head of Implenia’s Business Unit Buildings Germany | Hans-Dieter Steinbrücker leaves the Group as planned at the end of the year

With a doctorate in civil engineering, Matthias Jacob has many years of experience in the construction industry. Among other things, he held numerous management functions at Bilfinger Berger, most recently between 2007 and 2010 as managing director of its buildings division. In 2011, he took charge as technical managing director of Wolff & Müller Holding GmbH & Co KG, with around 2,000 employees and a turnover of around EUR 750 million.

Hans-Dieter Steinbrücker will be leaving the Group at the end of the year. This change is taking place as planned and was agreed when Implenia took over Bilfinger Hochbau. The Board of Directors and Group Executive Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Hans-Dieter Steinbrücker for his exceptional work as a manager and on the integration of the new Business Unit into Implenia Group.
