Mr. D. Sen has assumed charge as Director (Planning & Business Development), Indian Oil Corporation Limited, the leading Indian Oil and Gas Company in the Fortune 'Global 500' listing. Mr. Sen served as Executive Director I/c (Lubes) at IndianOil's Marketing Division Headquarters in his last assignment. Mr. Sen is also the Chairman of IOC Middle East, a wholly owned subsidiary of IndianOil involved in lubes business in the Middle East.
During his tenure as ED I/c (Lubes), Mr. Sen led the lubes vertical to scale new heights in marketing of SERVO lubricants by achieving an all time high market share both in Industrial as well as Automotive segments amidst fierce competition from global majors. Besides repositioning the SERVO brand through launching of synthetic range of SERVO Automotive lubricants, Mr. Sen is also credited with expanding the reach of Servo lubricants in rural areas by setting up "Grameen Servo Stockist", a first of its kind in the industry.
A Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from Jadavpur University with one year advanced course in Lubes and Fuels from IIP Dehradun, Mr. Sen earlier served as State Head of Bihar & Jharkhand as well as West Bengal State Offices of IndianOil and has over 35 years of experience in all aspects of Petroleum Products marketing including brand building, new product launches, customer segmentation, niche marketing etc. in India as well as abroad.

- refining and distribution of petroleum products (94.6%): 69.4 Mt of petroleum refined in 2019/20. At the end of March 2020, the group operated 11 refineries and a network of 28,059 service stations in India. Also, the group is active in the transportation of crude oil, natural gas and petroleum products (operating a network of 14,670 km oil and gas pipeline);
- sales of petrochemicals (2.7%): benzene, propylene, butadiene, polymers, glycols, paraxylene, purified terephthalic acid, linear alkylbenzenes, etc. (2.1 Mt sold in 2019/20);
- other (2.7%): sale of natural gas, alternative energy production, exploration and production of oil and gas.
India accounts for 94.6% of net sales.
