Munich, Germany - December 12, 2014 - Infineon Technologies AG (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY) today announced that the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) named Infineon as the 2014 Outstanding EMEA Semiconductor Company. The award recognizes a semiconductor company headquartered in the region Europe/Middle East/Africa that clearly demonstrates the most strength when measuring products, vision, leadership and success in the marketplace.
Infineon received the prestigious award at the Annual GSA Award Dinner in Santa Clara, CA on December 11. The company was nominated and then selected for the Award by the EMEA Leadership Council of GSA.
