Informatica Corporation (NASDAQ: INFA), the world's number one independent leader in data integration software, today announced that it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the leaders quadrant in the 2011 Magic Quadrant for Master Data Management (MDM) of Customer Data Solutions1 report. Gartner estimates that total software revenue for MDM solutions was $1.4 billion in 2010, an increase of 15% from 2009. Within those overall figures it's estimated that the market for MDM of customer data solutions was $446 million in 2010, an increase of 23% from 2009. Gartner projects five-year compound annual growth rates (CAGRs) of nearly 20% for both the overall MDMthe MDM of customer data software markets through 2015.
