ING Luxembourg has a new CEO with Belgium's head of Retail and Private Banking, Colette Dierick taking over the role from Luc Verbeken on 15 July.

Luc Verbeken has been appointed head of Belgium and Luxembourg´s Transformation Office.

Colette Dierick began her career with ING in Belgium (previously Bank Brussels Lambert) in 1984 as a graduate trainee. In the nearly 32 years that have followed, she has held various positions in Retail Banking, Mid-Corporate Banking and Operations. Dierick was appointed head of Retail and Private Banking in January 2011, and has been a driving force behind ING Belgium's transformation into a more digital and more personal bank.

Luc Verbeken has also worked for ING for more than 30 years, in roles spanning Retail and Wholesale Banking in Belgium, Spain, the USA and the Netherlands. In 2012, he was appointed head of the Project Management Office at ING Bank headquarters, and became CEO of ING Luxembourg in March 2013. Under his leadership, Luxembourg has solidified its local presence while offering clients all the advantages of ING's extensive international network.
