DAVIDSON, N.C., Oct. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ingersoll Rand (NYSE: IR) reached a milestone signing its 4,000th unit to be covered by its PackageCare(TM) service agreement. PackageCare, the first of its kind in the air compressor industry, was launched by Ingersoll Rand in the Spring of 2007. PackageCare also allows customers to control costs with predictable, scheduled maintenance and invoicing, as well as protection from all unexpected repair expenses for the life of the agreement.
