Ingram Micro Accelerates European Expansion With
New Cloud Marketplace in Belgium
Automated Cloud Services Platform Delivers First-to-Market Access to Microsoft Office365
and Other Leading Cloud Vendors

Brussels, Belgium - May 28, 2015 - Continuing to grow its global cloud presence in Europe, Ingram Micro (NYSE: IM) today announced the availability of its latest Cloud Marketplace in Belgium during the company's annual In The Loop event in Brabanthal, Leuven. This marks the fourth country in Europe to welcome the automated marketplace, and the seventh country worldwide. Leading cloud vendors debuting on the Cloud Marketplace include Microsoft Office 365, Acronis, and Nomadesk. Ingram Micro anticipates adding other vendor offerings, including IBM Cloud and Cisco Webex, soon.
The Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace is an ecosystem of buyers, sellers and solutions that empowers channel partners and IT professionals to configure, provision and manage cloud technologies with confidence and ease. The Cloud Marketplace enables efficient management of the complete end-customer cloud subscription lifecycle from a single, automated platform, and will offer an end-to-end portfolio of vetted solutions that covers all major business categories including; infrastructure, security, communication & collaboration, business applications and platform, and cloud management services.

According to IDC, the total public cloud services end-user spend in Belgium (excluding Private Cloud Spend) is forecasted to reach US $709.4 million by 2018, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 25.8% - about 14 times the growth rate of the overall IT services market in Belgium.

Ingram Micro is the first master cloud service provider (mCSP) to offer Microsoft Office 365 on an automated platform, enabling channel partners to directly purchase, provision, price and invoice unique Office 365 bundles from a single online portal. Channel partners can bundle the offering with other cloud services in the marketplace such as a suite of migration services from SkyKick and produce a consolidated bill, providing customers with an easier way to manage their subscription costs. Through the Cloud Marketplace, channel partners can immediately begin offering Office 365 to their customers, allowing them to achieve quicker cloud sales, a more direct relationship with their customers and overall business success.

In addition to the Cloud Marketplace, Ingram Micro announced new services and programs designed specifically to drive partner success. Available now, the new enablement resources include:

  • Cloud Ignite Services™: Ingram Micro realizes technology does not solve problems on its own, customer support is also key. Cloud Ignite Services are available to assist channel partners with the data migration and on-boarding needs of their customers, as well as providing free customer service for all cloud services purchased on the Cloud Marketplace.
  • Cloud Elevate: To further enable marketplace success, Ingram Micro Cloud is announcing its premier loyalty program, Cloud Elevate. This new program delivers rewards and enablement services to help resellers accelerate their cloud sales and profitability. Benefits include; exclusive promotions, discounts, education, sales and marketing support, and more, as partners move up in the program. New partners joining Cloud Elevate by July 31st will receive a credit of €150, which can be used against Marketplace purchases within 90 days of joining the program.
