JoséFurst Joins Ingram Micro as Director Cloud Sales, Ingram Micro Brazil

SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL - June 24, 2015. As cloud adoption in Brazil's SMB market continues to gain significant momentum, Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM) today announced the appointment of José Furst as Director Cloud Sales, Ingram Micro Brazil, to further support and strengthen the company's cloud growth initiatives in Brazil.

In this role, Furst is responsible for driving Brazil's cloud revenue and profit margin, further developing and establishing key cloud partnerships with channel partners, expanding cloud business operations, and heading the region's overall cloud market strategy. Furst reports directly to Renee Bergeron, Vice President, Ingram Micro Global Cloud Computing.

An industry veteran with over two decades of experience in the technology sector, Furst brings to Ingram Micro a wealth of skills and international expertise in sales, marketing and business development. An expert in Latin American business-to-business, information technology, telecommunications and cloud computing markets, Furst has held several senior leadership positions in cloud and channel development at leading companies including Unify and Cisco Systems. Most recently, he served as Managing Director at Vorago. Furst has also worked with numerous startup companies and venture capital firms, assisting vendor expansion to Latin America and around the world.

Furst holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering from the technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA) in Brazil and a Masters in Aerospace Technology from École Nationale de l'Aéronautique et de l'Espace (ENSAE) in France. He is based out of Ingram Micro's Sao Paulo office.
