SANTA ANA, CA--(Marketwired - Apr 3, 2015) - Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM) today announced its North America Vice President of Marketing Jennifer Anaya has been appointed to The Channel Company's 2015 Women of the Channel Event Advisory Board. Women of the Channel, part of The Channel Company's XChange® Events portfolio, offers women in business the opportunity to share insights, find mentors, invest in self-awareness and development, network for growth and celebrate success.

The Channel Company selected Anaya for her thought leadership and career accomplishments within the channel community. In this role, she will work with fellow board members to shape the event content and foster trusted relationships with event participants. Board members are also responsible for identifying and vetting prominent women in the IT channel, as well as outside of the industry to share their insights and stories of success.

With 17 years of channel and business marketing expertise, Anaya heads Ingram Micro North America's marketing efforts and is the architect behind Agency Ingram Micro (AIM) -- an advertising, branding, event and integrated marketing agency dedicated to the marketing needs of today's channel partners and vendors. Unique in its expertise, AIM has become one of the top five agencies in Orange County, Calif., earning three national Addy awards in 2014, and seven in 2015 for its exceptional creative, demand generation and overall execution.

"The technology sales channel is full of smart entrepreneurs, marketers and business leaders who have purpose and incredible talent," said Anaya. "It's exciting to see the growing number of women who have taken a lead in our industry to serve as role models for the new generation of technology enthusiasts entering the workforce. Forums like these encourage all of us to share our collective knowledge and experience, not only with each other but also with the world, what the promise of technology could actually mean to our future. I'm honored to be able to serve as part of The Channel Company's 2015 Women of the Channel Event Advisory Board."

"We designed the Women of the Channel events in response to the growing needs on both coasts to inspire and motivate women in the channel community," said Lisa MacKenzie, senior vice president of Events, The Channel Company. "We congratulate our new advisory board members and are grateful for their unwavering commitment to our cause."
