Inter RAO Group completed the divestiture of JSC Tomsk Generation from JSC TGK-11. Following the reorganization of heat business in Omsk and Tomsk oblasts, the Group established several new subsidiaries. JSC OmskRTS and JSC TomskRTS took responsibility for delivery and sales of heat to consumers effective January 1, 2015; JSC Tomsk Generation is in charge of power plants located in Tomsk oblast; and JSC TGK-11, headquartered in Omsk as of April 1, 2015, is managing generation assets located in Omsk. Regional subsidiaries of JSC TGK-11 were abolished at the same time.

The reorganization of TGK-11 supports the 2020 development strategy of the heat business of Inter RAO Group focused on the following:

  • Creating the environment required to improve the efficiency of heat production assets of Inter RAO Group in UES of Siberia by streamlining their governance, including ownership structure
  • Eliminating cross subsidization of Tomsk assets by Omsk businesses
  • Optimizing asset management systems in Omsk and Tomsk, and reducing costs
