* The following power generation subsidiaries published their financial results: JSC Inter RAO - Electric Power Plants, JSC Nizhnevartovskaya TPP, Bashkir Generation Company LLC, JSC TGK-11, and JSC Tomsk Generation (net of heating network operations in 2015)

The following key factors affected the operating results of Russian power generation and heat production subsidiaries of Inter RAO Group:

  • Launch of 225 MW Unit No. 9 at Cherepetskaya TPP, and rehabilitation of Turbine Generator No. 2 at Omskaya TPP-5 resulting in the increase of its installed capacity to 100 MW

  • Retirement of low-efficiency power generation equipment: 276 MW at Yuzhnouralskaya TPP and Verkhnetagilskaya TPP combined; 36 MW across power plants in Bashkortostan; and 50 MW at Omskaya TPP-4
  • Optimized utilization of profitable capacity and reduced utilization of less efficient generation units
  • Increased average heat tariffs as of January 1, 2015
