Interconexion Electrica S A : Retransmission of Financial Statements 1st. and 2nd. Quarters 2015

​ISA announces that the separate and consolidated financial statements for quarters 1 and 2 of 2015 under IFRS, which were published on the XBRL taxonomy to the Financial Superintendence of Colombia present a difference with those initially presented on June 7 and August 26, 2015 for the respective quarters, as a result of the application of the provisions of Article 11 of Decree 2496 of 2015, paragraph 2. This article allows entities to use the equity method of accounting for subsidiaries, joint ventures and associates in their separate financial statements.

The Company decided to apply the amendments to IAS 27 - Equity Method early in the separate financial statements, generating the impact from the transition date to IFRS. Associated with this same change, the Company elected to apply the exemption contained in paragraph 39 of IAS 12 regarding the recognition of deferred tax.

The Financial Statements for the year 2015 already incorporate these concepts.

First Quarter 2015

Separate Financial Statements

Assets: Increased investments in subsidiaries and joint ventures of $ 39,710,865 thousand pesos, resulting from the application of equity method in the separate financial statements.

Liabilities: Decrease in deferred tax of $ 529.064.204 thousand pesos, as a result of the adoption of the exemption contained in paragraph 39 of IAS 12.

Equity: Increase by application of the equity method in subsidiaries and joint ventures and deferred tax adjustment.

Statement of comprehensive income: The results of the period show an increase of $ 4,285,749 thousand pesos by applying the equity participation method in subsidiaries and joint ventures.

Consolidated Financial Statements

Assets: Decrease in deferred tax of $ 31,929,400 thousand pesos, mainly as a result of applying the exemption in paragraph 39 of IAS 12 regarding the recognition of deferred tax.

Liabilities: Decrease in deferred tax of $ 535.953.973 thousand pesos, as a result of the adoption of the exemption contained in paragraph 39 of IAS 12.

Equity: Increase of $ 504,024,574 thousand pesos, mainly due to the application of the equity method in subsidiaries and joint ventures and deferred tax adjustment.

Second Quarter 2015

Separate Financial Statements

Assets: Increased investments in subsidiaries and joint ventures of $ 343,942,882 thousand pesos, resulting from the application of equity method in the individual financial statements.

Liabilities: Decrease in deferred tax of $ 529.064.204 thousand pesos, as a result of the adoption of the exemption contained in paragraph 39 of IAS 12.

Equity: Increase by application of the equity method in subsidiaries and joint ventures and deferred tax adjustment.

Statement of comprehensive income: The results of the period show an increase of $ 98,743,116 thousand pesos by applying the equity participation method in subsidiaries and joint ventures.

Consolidated Financial Statements

Assets: Decrease in deferred tax of $ 30,693,950 thousand pesos, mainly as a result of applying the exemption in paragraph 39 of IAS 12 regarding the recognition of deferred tax.

Liabilities: Decrease in deferred tax of $ 534,876,884 thousand pesos, mainly as a result of the adoption of the exemption contained in paragraph 39 of IAS 12.

Equity: Increase of $504,182,935 thousand pesos, mainly due to the application of the equity method in subsidiaries and joint ventures and deferred tax adjustment.

Statement of comprehensive income: The results of the period show an increase of $ 546,225 thousand pesos, mainly due to the application of the equity method in subsidiaries and joint ventures in separate financial statements of entities consolidated by them.
