ICG appoints Jun Suzuki as Head of Japan to build out Japan franchise

Tokyo and London - Intermediate Capital Group (ICG), the specialist asset manager, is pleased to announce that Jun Suzuki has been appointed Managing Director, Head of ICG Japan. He will represent ICG's Asia strategy in Japan and will join the Nomura-ICG Fund Board of Directors. Jun Suzuki will report to Dr Chris Heine, Head of Asia Pacific at ICG.

Jun, who has more than 20 years' experience in the financial services industry, has joined ICG from The Longreach Group, a pan-Asian private equity buyout fund, where he has been Principal for the past four years. Prior to this he held senior positions with UBS Investment Bank and other global investment banks.

Dr Chris Heine, Head of Asia Pacific at ICG, said: 'Jun Suzuki has a deep understanding and experience of the Japanese market and he joins at a time when ICG is investing significantly in the region. Japan is one of Asia's largest developed economies, and Jun will help us achieve our full potential as a provider of growth and liquidity solutions for sponsors and business owners.
