Michael DeVeau Named Global Pricing Officer, Flavors

International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (NYSE: IFF), a leading global creator of flavors and fragrances for consumer products, today announced that Shelley Young will lead the Company's investor relations function, reporting to Executive Vice President and CFO Kevin Berryman.

The announcement comes as Michael DeVeau, current head of investor relations, has been named Global Pricing Officer, Flavors. Mr. DeVeau, whose previous experience includes finance roles at PepsiCo and Citigroup, will report to Flavors Group President, Hernan Vaisman in his new role.

"She is a seasoned investor relations professional who possesses strong communication skills and a high level of business acumen. Most recently, Ms. Young established SEY Communications, a consulting practice specializing in improving the productivity of Investor Relations programs. Prior to that, she held investor relations roles of increasing responsibility with CBRE Group, Inc., The New York Times Company and Thomson Financial Group. Earlier in her career, Ms. Young held financial planning positions with PepsiCo and MasterCard International. A native of Newton, M.A., Ms. Young holds a B.A. degree in economics from Tufts University and an M.B.A. in finance and marketing from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business.
