INTERTAPE POLYMER GROUP® EXPANDS THEIR RANGE OF MASKING SOLUTIONS PRODUCTS

MONTREAL, QUEBEC and SARASOTA, FLORIDA (April 17, 2018)- Intertape Polymer Group announces their expansion of masking solutions, which now includes a premium, pre-taped high temperature masking film (PTHMF).

PTHMF is a pre-taped, pre-folded high-density polyethylene masking film intended for the marine, composites and transportation industry. The 0.35 mil thick film is corona treated and static free to resist overspray flaking during multiple resin/paint applications.

"This special film is formulated with IPG's PG21 high temperature masking tape designed to withstand the challenges of multiple bake cycles," said Cindy Stoner, IPG Senior

Director of Global Market Development. "PG21 masking tape allows for a quick stick and preforms under the most demanding applications.

"We studied the current products on the market and incorporated customer feedback on ways to improve performance and productivity," explained Stoner. "PTHMF is an innovation through collaboration with customers. IPG research resulted in developing a film with a durable high-performance masking tape which allows the customer to improve productivity and reduce cost."
