Intertek, a leading quality solutions provider to industries worldwide, will be offering a conference to address the latest developments in China following the 'clean-up' process on June 21-22, 2016, at the Fleming's conference Hotel in Frankfurt, Germany.
In 2013, China's National Health and Family Planning Commission (NHFPC) was established to issue final approvals for food contact materials petitioned under the country's 'clean up' procedures. This was a process in which manufacturers of unapproved food packaging materials (prior to June 1, 2010) were permitted to file petitions in order to seek appropriate clearance.
Now that 'clean-up' process is in final state, companies are struggling to keep up with the growing number and complex nature of food contact regulations and safety requirements that will be in force from January 2016 in China.
This workshop has been designed to focused on:
- Update of food contact regulatory framework after the 'clean-up
- Management of Food Contact Registration in China
- Migration and model prediction of harmful substances in food packaging
- Show synergies in compliance approach of China, EU and FDA
