Press Release / 21 October 2016

intu shopping centres will turn into trick or treating hotspots on Halloween weekend (29th and 30th October), giving thousands of children the chance to dress up and collect treats from shops and restaurants.

Debenhams at intu Trafford Centre, Cath Kidston at intu Metrocentre and Hamleys at intu Lakeside are among hundreds of high street names taking part in intu's big trick or treat events at its shopping centres across the UK during a packed week of free half term activities.

Scary shoppers will need to collect a free bucket from intu's customer service desks and then keep their eyes peeled for the carved pumpkins on display in shop windows which signal that a tasty treat lies in store.

intu is running the big trick or treat weekend as part of its mission to 'make it fangtastic' for families this half term, with free activities like pumpkin carving and scary mask taking place at every one of its shopping centres throughout the school holidays.

intu's big trick or treat events will take place alongside a fun-packed week of Halloween activities in every centre so we can't wait to put smiles on the faces of thousands of mini witches and warlocks across the UK set to take part.'
