Intuit Inc. (Nasdaq: INTU) today revealed AIS Solutions & Kninja, AllThatCounts, Business Cents and Business Works UK Ltd as the top accounting firms from around the world, each vying for the winning spot in the 2017 Intuit QuickBooks Global Firm of the Future contest. Representing Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States, their entries best highlighted how they embrace online technologies to grow their practices and meet the needs of their small business clients.

Now in its third year, the Firm of the Future contest once again invited the world’s leading accounting, bookkeeping and tax firms to showcase how they see the value of the cloud, use business models to better value their expertise, and grow their practice with modern marketing techniques. The contest opened in July of this year for firms from Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States to enter for a chance at the $10,000 USD grand prize and to win the title of 2017 Global Firm of the Future.

“AIS Solutions & Kninja, AllThatCounts, Business Cents and Business Works UK Ltd embody the key pillars of what it means to be a Firm of the Future, and we are delighted to announce them as this year’s finalists in the Firm of the Future contest,” said Rich Preece, global leader of Intuit’s Accountant Segment, Small Business and Self-Employed Group. “These firms are trend-setters in their community and leaders in the field. We are eager to work with them as they help others embrace change and new technologies.”

Preece and a panel of qualified judges from Intuit’s global sites selected the top four finalists who best embody the attributes of Firms of the Future. The finalists (in alphabetical order) are:

  • AIS Solutions & Kninja, Canada
  • AllThatCounts, Australia

Once complete, the videos will be available for public voting in an online gallery on the Firm of the Future website; the voting period is open October 16-29, 2017.

Each finalist will also receive a $5,000 USD cash prize and two free tickets to Intuit’s annual conference, QuickBooks Connect, November 15-17, in San Jose, California. The grand prize winner will be unveiled at QuickBooks Connect and receive an additional $10,000 USD.
