Baton Rouge, November 11, 2015 - Investar Bank recently announced that Mike Nizzo has assumed the role of Regional Chief Lending Officer and Senior Vice President, where he will be responsible for leading a commercial team.

Nizzo will focus on growing the commercial loan portfolio and broadening Investar's commercial product offerings. In addition to lending, he will serve the treasury management, deposit and other needs of businesses in the Greater Baton Rouge area. He has over 15 years of commercial banking experience and previously served as a Senior Banker for a large bank headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Nizzo graduated from Louisiana State University, where he received a Bachelor's Degree from the E.J. Ourso College of Business. He is a native of Donaldsonville and currently resides in Gonzales, LA.
