Investar Bank Served 1,200 Hot Lunches to Livingston Parish Residents & Business Owners Baton Rouge, La. - When driving along I-12 and exiting at Range Ave. in Denham Springs, you'll see businesses closed, dumpsters in parking lots and workers trying to clean up after the flood disaster to re-open for business. Investar Bank located at 482 South Range Ave. near Florida Blvd. in Denham Springs re-opened this week and reached out to help its community. Investar employees from the corporate office and several branches across Southeast Louisiana pulled together this week to plan and serve over 1,200 hot lunches to the people in the area on Wednesday, Aug. 24. Thank you to Max Himmel and Clayton Mitchell for all the food and time donated to cook for the community.

"We had people visit us in the parking lot as well as had a drive-through available for those to get a hot meal and share their stories. Bank volunteers were lined up taking orders from jambalaya and pastalaya to sausage po'boys and hamburgers to deliver meals and water to those in need. We are so fortunate to be able to serve the wonderful people of Livingston Parish a warm meal after all they have been through," said John D'Angelo, President and CEO, Investar Bank.
