What you will be doing?

  • Analyze, design, install, implement, customize and maintain information security services and solutions (in-house and 3 party). These include but not limited to SIEMs, Vulnerability Assessment and Management Solutions, WAFs, IDS/IPS, Cloud Security and Monitoring Solutions.
  • Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments and where required, coordinate testing with third party security providers
  • Develop best practices and technical patterns that are adapted to iProperty Group's environment, culture and needs.
  • Monitor and assess threat intelligence feeds and coordinate response to new threats and exploits across multiple teams.
  • In the event of an incident or investigation, you may be called upon to lead or assist the response.
  • Mentor and direct other technical teams in good security practices.
  • Work closely with Group's security consultant/advisor to implement and execute security project.
  • Regional role covering Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand. Role is based in Kuala Lumpur

What are the requirements?

  • 5+ years in system engineering and security roles
  • Security qualifications (CISM, GIAC, CISSP, OSCP, CEH) preferred
  • Broad understanding of IT security principles.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in Windows and/or Linux operating systems
  • Sound skills in scripting languages such as Python, Ruby and shell.
  • Able to fit into a fast paced environment, previous experience in a software development environment is preferred
  • Advanced skills and experience in system engineering including (but not limited to) infrastructure design, deployment and management.
  • Strong experience with continuous delivery, DevOps and cloud based infrastructure (Amazon AWS)
  • Strong knowledge in technical security concepts, security protocols, cryptography, application security and cloud based security models.
  • Strong knowledge in web operation and web security.
  • Experience in performing vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
  • Able to provide security direction and mentor engineering teams in a collaborative environment.
  • Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
