Innovative product receives 2012 Intersolar Award
At Intersolar Europe 2012, the international leading trade
fair of the solar industry, the world market leader from
Darmstadt for surface inspection systems and leading provider
for 3D Machine Vision received the 2012 Intersolar AWARD for
a new product in the category "Photovoltaic Production
Technology". The award-winning luminescence inspection
system inspects the quality of solar cells and photovoltaic
modules in the production line. Compared to existing systems,
the quality assessment could be improved significantly. This
product now offers companies in the solar industry the
possibility to detect and sort out only those cells that are
actually defective. This reduces incorrect rejects as well as
increases quality and yield while simultaneously lowering
costs - an important competitive advantage for ISRA and its
customers. In the currently difficult Solar market
environment, the company is very well positioned with its new
product for automation and yield maximization for the
photovoltaic industry and has once again proven its
innovative strength.
ISRA also reached a high degree of attention with this
technology at the SNEC PV Power Expo 2012 in Shanghai, China.
The new application and its fast return-on-investment met
once again with great interest among the Chinese
manufacturers of solar cells and photovoltaic.
Intersolar 2012 and SNEC PV Power Expo 2012 are good examples
of ISRA's focus on introducing innovations with its
presence at worldwide leading trade fairs, and generating new
growth.
