ITALIAONLINE ACQUIRES THE DIGITAL ADVERTISING DEALER ADPULSE ITALIA

With this transaction, Italiaonline further strengthens its role in the Italian digital advertising market

Milan, February 19th 2018

Italiaonline strengthens its position in the digital advertising market with the entry in its portfolio of the Italian activities of AdPulse, the unit of AdUX (Euronext, ISIN code: FR0012821890, formerly HiMedia) specialized in digital advertising sales on behalf of leading Italian and international publishers.

In Italy, AdPulse is the licensee of brands of great visibility such as WeTransfer, ViaMichelin, Greenme, which enter the Italiaonline galaxy, enhancing the offer of the IOL Advertising national advertising agency, led by Massimo Crotti.

Andrea Chiapponi, Director of the Large Account Business Unit of Italiaonline, commented: "With the entry of the Italian activities of AdPulse, Italiaonline confirms the strategic growth line by external means, strengthening the role of the first Italian digital player and thus contributing to the consolidation of digital advertising market in Italy ".

At the same time, on February 14th 2018 Italiaonline transferred the 16.24% stake held in 11880 Solutions Ag (formerly Telegate AG), a German-based communication company offering directory assistance and call centers in Germany, Spain and Italy, for a countervalue of approximately € 3.4 million.

The investment, considered not strategic, was already classified among the financial assets available for sale in the financial statements as at 31 December 2016 of Italiaonline S.p.A. The sale transaction will allow a capital gain of about € 1.3 million to be realized with respect to the value of the investment recorded in the 2016 financial statements.
