Sharelynn Moore, Itron's vice president of corporate marketing and public affairs, will present at the Smart City Expo World Congress, which takes place in Barcelona from November 18 to 20, 2014. The conference brings together experts and leaders of the world's most innovative cities, companies, research centers, universities and international organizations to discuss sustainable and efficient city development.
On Thursday, November 20, Moore will participate in a panel on solutions for sustainable cities where she will discuss shaping cities of the future through resourceful management of energy and water. Moore's presentation will highlight the Itron Resourcefulness Index, which outlines trends, challenges and opportunities in the management of energy and water. To inform the research, Itron conducted a survey of 800 consumers and 600 utility executives in 14 countries. The report provides insight into efficiency of energy and water management.
