Ixia (Nasdaq: XXIA), a leading provider of application performance and security resilience solutions, announces the expansion of its Channel Xcelerate™ Partner Program to enable resellers and distributors to deliver end-to-end solutions to customers worldwide. Having achieved strong market momentum since Xcelerate’s formal launch in April 2014, the program includes more than 500 resellers worldwide and now promotes selling, up-selling and cross-selling across Ixia’s broad solutions portfolio. In addition, the program provides new enablement tools and has begun to offer specialization ratings to help partners brand and differentiate their offerings based on proven expertise.

“The fact that Ixia is expanding its presence in the channel and continuing to invest in partner enablement represents a very timely opportunity to strengthen customer relationships and to deliver complete solutions,” says Bob Olwig, vice president of business strategy and innovation at World Wide Technology. “Ixia’s innovation helps WWT provide support for solution development when providing testing services and proofs of concept within our Advanced Technology Center.”

The Channel Xcelerate Program’s specialization ratings will recognize and equip partners to promote their individual expertise in five critical areas: application performance, security, virtualization, support and sales to government agencies. For a sales partner to qualify for a specialization area, the partner must demonstrate that at least 15 percent of its revenues are derived from that specialization area, that it has dedicated sales and technical teams in place and that at least two of its employees have completed Ixia’s required training.

“Ixia as a company is at the cross-section of several fast-changing technology markets where enterprises are relying heavily on VARs to help make the best decisions,” says Ray Mota, CEO & principal analyst, ACG Research. “Ixia partners are in a great position to become highly valued strategic partners that can offer holistic solutions for challenges like virtualization and security, backed by a global support infrastructure and proven expertise.”

Since the Xcelerate Partner Program’s launch, Ixia has continued to build out its Channel Sales and Marketing organization and infrastructure with teams now in place in the Americas, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific regions. With today’s announcement the program also includes:

  • A user friendly partner portal
  • Virtual enablement tools
  • Additional online training resources that facilitate the cross-selling of physical and virtual solutions for network optimization, security and visibility

“Enterprises, service providers and government agencies are investing in technologies to improve application performance and secure valuable data,” says Lori Cornmesser, vice president, Global Channel Sales, Ixia. “Our Channel Xcelerate program offers a unique lifecycle approach and the enhancements we’re making represent an opportunity for our partners to bring new solutions and value to customers during the design, deployment and operation of their networks.”
