Ixia (Nasdaq:XXIA) today announced that Hans-Peter Klaey has joined Ixia as its senior vice president, global sales.

Klaey brings over three decades of technology and sales experience to his new role. From 2011 to 2014, Klaey served as HP’s senior vice president of the global field organization for the HP software business group. Prior to HP, Klaey held several senior executive positions at SAP, and most recently served as its president of global small and midsize enterprises, direct and indirect channels, and inside sales from 2007 to 2010. He served as the president and chief executive officer of SAP Asia Pacific and Japan from 2002 to 2006, and as the managing director of SAP UK, Ireland, and Africa from 2000 to 2001. Klaey holds bachelor’s degrees in mechanical engineering from Bern University of Applied Science and in business administration from GSBA Zurich.
