Jardine Lloyd Thompson : Craig Brokenshire is appointed Global COO of JLT Re

JLT Re, the global provider of reinsurance broking and consultancy, has appointed Craig Brokenshire as Global COO. Craig was previously COO of JLT Re's Asia Pacific region, having joined JLT Re Australia as a director in 2011.

Craig will report to Mike Reynolds, Global CEO of JLT Re.

Mike Reynolds said, 'Craig has played a key role in our ongoing growth and expansion in the Asia Pacific region whilst also working on a number of important group wide initiatives and projects. His single-mindedness and proactive drive mean he is an excellent choice for this role. I am delighted he will now become Global COO and look forward to building on our great working relationship.'

Commenting on his appointment, Craig Brokenshire said, 'Whilst I will be sad to leave my colleagues in Asia Pacific, this exciting opportunity will allow me to build on my work to date at JLT Re where we have had great support from both clients and markets. I am intent on supporting our reputation as market leaders as we continue to build out our global platform.'

Before joining JLT Re in 2011, Craig was COO at Aon Broking and APAC Facultative COO at Aon Benfield, both in Singapore. He is a Fellow of the ANZIIF and has a Master in Business (MBus) in Finance. Craig will continue to be located in Singapore in the short term with a plan to move to London later this year.
