Jardine Lloyd Thompson : Anna-Karin Toresson joins JLT Re to lead development and expansion of Nordic region

Creates local capability in order to meet the needs of growing client base | Toresson attracted by JLT Re's proposition and specialist capability

JLT Re, the global provider of reinsurance broking and consultancy, has appointed Anna-Karin Toresson as Head of JLT Re's P&C reinsurance business for the Nordics. This new role emphasises the business's expanding footprint in the region. She will join JLT Re on July 1, 2016, reporting to Keith Harrison, CEO, JLT Re UK & Europe.

As part of her role she will support the existing JLT Re client relationships in the region working with Nordic teams in London and Basel as well as developing new clients. Anna-Karin previously worked at Guy Carpenter where she was Managing Director and Head of Nordic Treaty. She brings extensive experience in both the reinsurance industry and the Nordic region.
