Jardine Lloyd Thompson : JLT RE ANNOUNCES ACQUISTION OF OLSA RE´S PORTFOLIO

Acquisition further strengthens JLT Re's leadership position as the largest reinsurance broker in Peru, specializing in construction, mining, energy, oil, aviation, among other sectors.

JLT Re, a subsidiary of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group plc ('JLT'), one of the world's leading providers of insurance, reinsurance and employee benefits related advice, brokerage and associated services, has announced the acquisition of Olsa Re´s portfolio in Peru. The acquisition further strengthens JLT Re's position as Peru's leading reinsurance broker, with the addition of Olsa Re's significant aviation industry expertise and established client portfolio.

Olsa Re is a Peruvian reinsurance broker with over three decades of specialist experience in the aviation and cargo sectors, with clients also situated in Colombia, Ecuador and Costa Rica. Jose Espinosa and Clara Escobar, Olsa´s key aviation brokers, have joined JLT Re Peru to manage the aviation line and ensure the continuity of the portfolio.
