For the third consecutive year, Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine names JDA and its customer to its prestigious list of supply chain success stories
Scottsdale, Ariz. - May 26, 2015 - JDA Software Group, Inc. today announced that Supply & Demand Chain Executivehas named JDA to its list of the "100 Great Supply Chain Projects" for 2015. This is the third consecutive year JDA has been named to this annual listing of solutions and services providers that demonstrate a profound ability to move their customers toward supply chain excellence.
JDA was recognized for its work with Office Depot France,which sells more than 9,000 products and operates 56 stores across France. The retailer implemented a suite of JDA® Category Management™solutions, including JDA® Space Planning, JDA® Floor Planning< /a>and JDA® Space Automation. With numerous stores and a large product range, Office Depot France needed to quickly make changes across each store's planograms in the most efficient manner, optimizing its investments in stock while also tailoring product ranges to meet local consumer preferences.
Since implementing JDA's Category Management solutions, Office Depot France has realized significant productivity and efficiency gains. The company has reduced the time required to compare individual store planograms from two hours to one minute. For new product ranges, Office Depot France has saved two weeks a year in planogram generation time. The JDA implementation has also improved forecasting and analysis capabilities, as the retailer can now easily see how well store layouts are performing across different departments, enabling quick planogram changes when required.
