JDSU StrataSync-Enabled and DSL-Vectored HST-3000 extends its value
with two key enablers to boost productivity and performance.

Now with HST-3000 integrated into JDSU StrataSync, a hosted, cloud-based software application, you can stay on top of it all. StrataSync lets you always know where your equipment is, that it's ready for use, that your technicians and supervisors are always trained on the latest tests, and that you can access results and collaborate like never before.

With StrataSync you can:

  • Reduce the OpEx of manually recording, tracking, and updating assets
  • Increase efficiency and productivity of the workforce by empowering them with critical data to reduce repeat rates.

Firmware version 7.50.19 turns on vectored VDSL testing in the HST-3000 Bonded VDSL2/ADSL2 Module to substantially increase performance over nonvectored VDSL2 by eliminating the effects of service-impairing crosstalk interference. Your customers want to see the difference in performance before they upgrade to a higher tier service, and the HST-3000 lets you show them.

  • Protect your test set investment - No-cost software upgrade adds vectoring to existing VDSL2, bonding-capable module.
  • Grow revenues faster - Show performance increase when vectoring is enabled-upsell customers to a higher-tier service.
  • Minimize mistakes, reduce repeats - The HST-3000 combines the best in copper testing, including NEXT/FEXT, bonded DSL, vectoring, and service-layer triple-play testing.

Use case: The HST-3000, equipped with VDSL vector testing, lets providers show the performance increase enabled by VDSL vectoring. Set to "Full" vector mode, the HST-3000 shows the highest level of performance when connecting the customer's vector-enabled endpoint to a vector-enabled DSLAM. The HST-3000's friendly vector mode emulates a customer's endpoint that is unable to vector, but still connects with the same vector-enabled DSLAM. By comparing the two performance result categories, providers can show customers the performance increase vectoring enables.
