Jet Airways announces three key appointments

Jet Airways India's premier international airline, today, announced the appointment of Mr. Raj Sivakumar, as Chief Commercial Officer of the Company with immediate effect.

In the above role, Mr. Raj Sivakumar will be responsible for the overall development and implementation of a robust sales strategy for driving the goals of enhancing the Company's market share and maximizing revenues.

In his new role, Raj Sivakumar will report to the Chief Operating Officer.

Similarly, Mr. Rajeev Nambiar has joined the airline's management team as Vice President - Sales (India).

He will be responsible for developing and directing the implementation of the strategic, business and operational goals of the sales function. He will have management responsibility for the achievement of customer acquisition and revenue goals (passenger sales) for India points of sale/territories.

He has 18 years of rich experience in the field of sales with leading international carriers.

He will be based in Mumbai and will report to the Chief Commercial Officer.

The airline also approved the appointment of Mr. Martin Drew as Vice President - Cargo (Designate). Mr.Drew's appointment is subject to receipt of all requisite government/regulatory approvals including security clearance. He has over 20 years of experience in the air cargo industry with leading airlines like Lufthansa Cargo, ANA Aviation Services, DAS Air Cargo etc. At Jet Airways, he will be responsible for maximization of cargo revenues.

He will be based in Mumbai and will report to the Chief Operating Officer.
