JINCHUAN GROUP INTERNATIONAL RESOURCES CO. LTD The visit to Chibuluma Mines by the Minister of Mines and Minerals Development of Zambia, Honorable Christopher Yaluma took place on 24 January 2017 and included government officials and the media.
The objective of the visit was for the Minster to gain a first-hand understanding of mining operations at Chibuluma Mines Plc and to engage with a cross section of employees in order to get a first-hand feel of management and employee representative.
The visit provided an opportunity for the Mines Minister and the government to better understand the variety of challenges facing Chibuluma Mines and also understand the processing and the quality of the operational management teams in Chibuluma Mines. Through this visit, the Minister confirmed the contributions made by Chibuluma Mines to Zambia.
Chibuluma management was grateful to the Government of Zambia and the Minister for the care and guidance, and the opportunity for substantive dialogue with the government.
